Magelungen is now seeking a treatment leader for Ung Trygg - an intensive and multimodal intervention for children, youth, and families aimed at identifying risk and protective factors, understanding the function of criminal behavior, and working to find alternative, positive behaviors and opportunities to reduce young people's involvement in serious crime. The intervention is provided to the young person and their family in their home environment or other safe places, during daytime, evenings, and weekends as needed. Ung Trygg targets youth who have already committed crimes or are suspected to be at risk of continued criminal involvement. The intervention is provided through support decisions from social services. As a treatment leader in Ung Trygg, you play a central role in coordinating the treatment process for the youth and family. You lead and coordinate the team's work and ensure that the intervention is implemented in a structured, coordinated manner with clear treatment focus. You are part of a treatment team together with youth treatment specialists and family treatment specialists. The work is based on the needs of the youth and family and can take place during daytime, evenings, and weekends. In this role, you are responsible for keeping the various parts of the intervention together in a systematic way. This means ensuring a balance between relational work, structure, and safety, with the goal of creating change, increased security, and reduced risk of continued criminal involvement. You have an important coordinating function in contact with social services, authorities, and other collaborative partners. You lead and follow up on treatment work, contribute to continuity and quality, and ensure that the team works toward established goals. A central part of the assignment is to conduct and follow up on safety assessments. This involves identifying risks for violence, threats, reoffending, or other risky behaviors and ensuring that these risks are handled promptly, structurally, and thoughtfully. The assessments form the basis for how the intervention is planned and how treatment can be implemented. The assignment may also include support and supervision to treatment families. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or equivalent higher education. You have previous experience in treatment work and change-focused work with youth involved in crime. You have a good understanding of the complexity of working with youth, families, networks, and authorities, and you are confident in coordinating interventions where multiple actors are involved. You should have knowledge and experience of CBT, systemic approaches, and familiarity with criminological theories. It is meritorious if you have experience working with adolescents and families within authority-based services or open care programs for children and youth with behavioral issues. Previous experience managing and handling complex cases is a prerequisite for the assignment. Experience leading teams, coordinating treatment processes, or working with safety assessments is meritorious. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. The role of treatment leader requires that you are secure and stable as a person, with good ability to maintain perspective in complex and changing processes. You are flexible, energetic, and have very good relationship-building abilities. You have good cultural competence, empathetic ability, and personal maturity. You can work closely with families and youth in vulnerable situations while maintaining professional direction, clarity, and treatment focus. It is crucial that you share Magelungen's systemic and salutogenic approach, with a focus on respectful treatment and strengthening competence and resources in those we meet. It is meritorious if you have experience in parental support work or family treatment.
