Treatment Specialist, Dependency and Adult Services Unit
Popis:
At Trelleborg, we work together for a growing successful municipality where it is good to live. Our 61 villages and 21 city districts are creative meeting places that bubble with life. Here we want things, talk about them, and come just as we are. This means we welcome others in the same generous and curious way. Welcome to join the journey! The Social Services Department's mission is to work with social services and provide support so that everyone in the municipality feels safe and has equal opportunities in life. We want everyone to be able to be active and participate in society. With a focus on respect for the individual's right to determine their own life, we are responsible for three important areas: care and support, support for people with disabilities, and assistance to individuals and families. Our goal is that everyone should receive the support and care they need. Since everything Trelleborg Municipality does is based on our values of openness, respect, and responsibility, it is important and crucial that these values are just as self-evident for you as they are for us in our work. The Workplace The Dependency and Adult Services Unit is one of five units within the Individual and Family Services Department. In total, Individual and Family Services consists of approximately 110 employees. At the Dependency and Adult Services Unit, you will become part of a competent and dedicated team consisting of treatment specialists, social secretaries, addiction pedagogues, senior social secretaries, and a unit manager. We have a well-developed care pathway for people with substance abuse issues. Work is conducted from a holistic and family perspective with the individual in focus. The unit is responsible for municipal care regarding harmful use and addiction for people over 18 years old and their relatives. The unit is also responsible for the municipality's interventions for people who wish to leave a criminal lifestyle or are in need of protection related to crime, human trafficking, and exploitation. The care pathway consists of investigation responsibilities with authority, support and treatment measures. We work with Signs of Safety and MI as our approach. Internal training in Signs of Safety is provided. Communication options are good. The workplace is located approximately seven minutes' walk from the bus and regional train station. Work Tasks As a treatment specialist at the Dependency and Adult Services Unit, you will be part of a team with three colleagues. You will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing internal treatment measures for people with harmful use or addiction to alcohol, drugs, or gambling, and for people with a criminal lifestyle so that they meet the target group's needs. You will conduct qualified treatment work, both individually and in groups. The unit currently offers a wide range of treatment measures such as CRA, relapse prevention, MI conversations, Previct, and 12-step treatment. Relatives of people with harmful use, addiction, or a criminal lifestyle are also part of the target group, and we offer family support both individually and in groups. The range of services is continuously developed to meet the target group's needs. Documentation of interventions in the management systems Lifecare and Journal Digital is included. You will primarily work in our low-intensity group activities and with individual interventions according to CRA, MI, and relapse prevention, as well as with family treatment, both individually and in groups. The work involves close collaboration with the unit's social secretaries and addiction pedagogues. You will work both with interventions based on social assistance decisions and with interventions designed entirely based on the individual's own problem description. The unit has begun development work to prepare and adapt operations based on the comorbidity reform. You will be involved in continuing this development work. Qualifications We are looking for a competent and dedicated employee with great interest in working with people with harmful use and addiction, with or without comorbidity, and with people who wish to leave a criminal lifestyle, as well as their relatives. You must have training in CRA. You should also preferably have training in MI, relapse prevention, and some form of crime prevention program, as well as experience working with the target group using these methods, preferably both individually and in groups. You should find it easy to create contact and sustainable relationships and have strong collaboration skills. We expect you to have good knowledge regarding harmful use and addiction and preferably also what it means to leave a criminal lifestyle. Experience working with relatives of the target group is also desirable. As a treatment specialist at the Dependency and Adult Services Unit, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and experience with documentation. You need to be responsible with a good ability to plan, organize, and implement work both independently and together with others within given frameworks. You also need to find it easy to maintain structure and adapt to new situations in the work. You should have a low-affective approach and good pedagogical skills. A respectful and personal treatment of clients as well as colleagues and partners is important in our work. Since the work can be emotionally demanding, you need to be stable with integrity and personal maturity. You who apply should have appropriate educational background for the work, for example social worker, criminologist, social pedagogue, or treatment pedagogue with a focus on harmful use and addiction. A driver's license is a requirement. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Before employment is offered, you must provide certified copies of your degree, valid identification (passport or national ID card), and an extract from the criminal record. We therefore firmly decline contact from media sales representatives, recruitment sites, and similar.
