We are now looking for a Child Welfare Secretary who wants to contribute to maintaining high quality care for our placed children and young people. The Placement Unit consists of three Child Welfare Secretaries, two Foster Care Secretaries, and a Unit Manager. The unit's staff have many years of experience and diverse expertise. We are now looking for someone with experience in government authority work, who together with knowledgeable and dedicated colleagues wants to work to give our children the best possible time during their placement. DUTIES As a Child Welfare Secretary, you will follow up on care and interventions for children and young people aged 0-20 placed in foster homes and treatment homes as well as secure care (SIS) according to the Social Services Act (SoL) or Care of Young Persons (LVU) Act. This is primarily done through home visits to foster homes, treatment homes, and secure care facilities, individual conversations with the placed child, and conversations with guardians and other professional contacts in close cooperation with Foster Care Secretaries. The work includes travel in the local area but also to other parts of Sweden. In your work, you ensure that the care is legally sound and that children have the same opportunities for development as other children. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree in social work who wants to be an important part of our work and contribute to ensuring that placed children and young people receive the best possible support. You are good at collaborating as well as working independently, you can express yourself well in speech and writing, and you enjoy creating good relationships. A Class B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle is required. Employment Type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent.
