The family health center in Bollnäs is part of the family health operations area in southern Hälsingland, which also includes the midwifery and youth clinics in Söderhamn. WORK TASKS In your role as a midwife, you will meet women and families at different stages of life, where you play an important part in promoting health and well-being. Your main work tasks • healthcare during pregnancy, which includes basic medical program, fetal diagnostics, health information during pregnancy • support in parenting and parent groups with childbirth and parenting preparation • family planning at the individual level, which includes contraceptive counseling and STI prevention • gynecological cervical screening to prevent cervical cancer • team collaboration with a counselor • public health work and conversations about lifestyle issues.
