JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as a midwife, you'll meet women and families at different stages of life, playing an important part in promoting health and well-being. You'll work independently and as part of a team, providing support and care to women of all ages. As a midwife with us, you'll work with: • maternal health care during pregnancy, including basic medical program, fetal diagnostics, health information during pregnancy, and psychosocial support • providing parenting support and parent groups with childbirth and parenting preparation • family planning on an individual level, including contraceptive counseling and STI prevention • gynecological cervical screening to prevent cervical cancer • public health work and conversations about lifestyle matters.
