Koordinaten is an all-activity center in central Oxelösund with a library, tourism, culture, café, and youth center under one roof. We are now seeking a substitute for our children's team as one of our colleagues is going on parental leave. The position is located at both the school library and Koordinaten and encompasses 75%. Evening and weekend shifts are included. 1 position(s). DUTIES • Be part of Koordinaten's children's team • Manage the school libraries together with the rest of the children's team • Promote reading through book discussions, read-alouds, and source criticism • Work in Koordinaten's information desk and with Koordinaten's events QUALIFICATIONS Librarian education or other education and experience deemed equivalent Experience working with children and literature Strong interest in children's literature and children's culture Knowledge of and interest in working with sources, source criticism, and information searching High digital maturity Good social skills and creative thinking Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English Great weight is placed on personal suitability It is meritorious if you have broader language skills Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer. The Culture and Leisure Administration has a local agreement on annual working hours. Part-time position comprising 75%. The position is filled on the condition that it does not need to be filled by already employed personnel or if the recruitment conditions change.
