Backlura School, Grades F–6 - City of Stockholm (grundskola.stockholm) Job Description The position includes mentoring approximately 25 students and teaching in the preparatory class. You will co-plan with other teachers in the grade level, which consists of two parallel classes in total. You will collaborate with after-school staff during the school day. Your daily tasks include planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction, as well as ensuring high-quality teaching that creates coherence for students throughout the entire school day. Qualifications We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications in all theoretical subjects at the elementary level. You have the ability to design instruction in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current learning standards. You take responsibility for and have insight into students' results and needs, and you structure and adapt your teaching to create a safe and appropriate learning environment. You involve students in planning and develop their ability to learn, both independently and with others. You are confident, stable, have self-awareness, and are a clear leader in the classroom. You value and create good conditions for collaboration, and you build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are skilled at meeting students' needs for guidance and stimulation as well as providing additional accommodations. You vary your instruction and take into account students' different knowledge levels. We place great importance on personal suitability.
