Your Role As Department Manager for our NET department, you will be responsible for one of our larger production departments in Halmstad, where you lead daily operations and manage an organization of approximately 40 employees, primarily machine operators. You report to the Production Manager and are an important part of the production organization's management structure. You are responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and stable production by: Leading, planning, and monitoring daily production with focus on safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency Creating the right conditions for the team to achieve set goals through present and clear leadership Driving and following up on improvement work in production, processes, and working methods Ensuring work is conducted according to applicable requirements for work environment, safety, quality, and environment Responsible for personnel matters such as development, employee conversations, work environment, and staffing Monitoring production, costs, downtime, and deviations and initiating improvement measures Responsible for production planning, delivery tracking, and resource utilization Collaborating with internal functions such as sales, planning, maintenance, HR, and finance Maintaining active dialogue with union representatives and contributing to good relations Who Are You? We are looking for someone with leadership experience in production or industrial operations who thrives in an operational role close to the business. You have a good understanding of how to achieve results through structure, engagement, and clear management. You recognize yourself in the following: Experience leading employees in a production environment Good knowledge of production, processes, and improvement work (preferably Lean) Experience working with work environment, safety, and quality systems Ability to analyze production and identify improvement areas Experience handling personnel matters and union collaboration Good knowledge of Swedish and English It is a merit if you have experience with production planning systems, SAP, or analytical tools.
