We are now seeking an engaged and driven department head for our surgical anesthesia and operating room department. Our Operations Our anesthesia, surgery and intensive care operations area (AnOpIVA) is a dynamic and high-tech unit where we provide advanced care every day to make a difference for our patients. With approximately 850 engaged employees, of which 450 work in the AnOp section, we are responsible for 45 operating rooms across six operating departments and a round-the-clock postoperative unit. Our operations also include intensive care, intermediate care, day surgery, sterile processing, and air ambulance intensive care. Your Assignment As department head, you will have a central role in driving and developing our surgical anesthesia and operating room department. You will be responsible for trauma, acute surgery, and large-scale surgery within specialist areas such as liver-pancreas, colorectal, gynecology, urology, vascular, and other advanced surgery. In this role, you will lead a team of approximately 90 competent and engaged employees and work closely with three assistant department heads. Your responsibilities include work environment, production planning, finances, and strategic development. We are looking for someone who wants to introduce new approaches, improve processes, and drive development to optimize our operations. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone who is: • A specialist nurse in anesthesia and/or operating room nursing • Has documented experience in management and leadership • Structured, clear, and stable with good collaboration skills • Confident in your role with a coaching and inclusive leadership style • Innovative and open to change, with the ability to think creatively and develop operations • Has good organizational and administrative skills We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your ability to create a positive and developing work environment.
