The Psychiatric Clinic in Arvika is seeking a licensed occupational therapist who wants to be part of developing our operations. You will work in a multidisciplinary team with a good work environment, clear procedures, and a focus on patient wellbeing within adult psychiatry in Arvika, Eda, and Årjäng. Your Workplace The Psychiatric Clinic in Arvika is organized within the Adult Psychiatry operations area. In addition to the clinic in Arvika, there is psychiatric outpatient care in Hagfors, Torsby, Kristinehamn, Säffle, and Karlstad. The psychiatric clinic in Arvika is located in premises at Arvika Hospital. The operation's mission is to assess, investigate, and treat patients with mental illness and psychological functional limitations, which can be done individually or in groups. We operate our unit in multidisciplinary collaboration with ongoing development work where we want to further enhance our team cooperation. You will work at a clinic with a good and supportive work environment alongside colleagues with extensive work experience. We have good structure with clear and established procedures, and we prioritize patient wellbeing. An important part of the work is collaboration with primary health care centers, municipalities, and other healthcare providers, and this collaboration includes participation in SIP and care planning. At the clinic in Arvika, in addition to occupational therapists, there are nurses, specialist physicians, training physicians, care administrators, nursing assistants, psychologists, trainee psychologists, and social workers. We work in three municipalities: Arvika, Eda, and Årjäng. We are now seeking a licensed occupational therapist interested in being part of developing the clinic toward a common goal across the entire region. Your Responsibilities Within Adult Psychiatry, inspiring development work is underway and we are looking for someone who wants to help us with this. The future lies within the psychiatric clinic. As an occupational therapist with us, you will have independent, varied, and stimulating work. The work includes direct work with individuals in the form of assessment and treatment as well as advice, consultation, supervision, and training for people in the individual's immediate environment and occurs in collaboration with other professionals within the operation and often externally with various authorities. Treatment takes place both individually and in groups. We hope you become curious to learn more about us and what we can offer you. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist. It is important that you are engaged and enjoy working with development and change initiatives. You should be a flexible and creative person with good collaboration skills. You are confident, stable, and conduct yourself in a manner adapted to the situation. You are independent and have the courage to act according to your own conviction. You are clear in your communication, ensure that messages get through, and that expectations are clear for all involved parties. You plan, organize, and prioritize work in an efficient manner, set and maintain timelines. Experience in psychiatry is meritorious but not required.
