About the Position As a site supervisor at Nordschakt, you'll have a central and important role in our production, with a special focus on our crushing units. The operation has grown – with more crushing units, higher production volumes, and increased demands on planning, follow-up, and work environment. That's why we now need to strengthen our site supervision to create better conditions for presence in the field, support for our teams, and more systematic improvement work. In this role, you'll work close to production and be responsible for leading the daily operations. You're a present leader who creates structure, follows up, and ensures that operations run efficiently and safely. The role involves travel and regular presence in the field. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of approximately 8 employees distributed across our crushing units and will work closely with production, customers, and other site supervisors. Your main responsibilities: Lead and coordinate daily work in the crushing units Plan and follow up on production, staffing, and resources Be actively present in the field and support the teams Maintain ongoing contact with customers regarding operations, production, and planning Work with work environment, safety, and onboarding of new staff Follow up on downtime, deviations, and ensure corrective actions Ensure that routines and work methods are followed Collaborate with operations manager, mechanics, drivers, and other site supervisors Participate in and drive improvement initiatives With us, you'll be where things happen – close to both people and machines. Your Profile We're looking for someone who thrives in a role with responsibility, pace, and variety, and who is motivated by getting both people and production to work together. We believe you have experience from contracting, rock crushing, or similar operations and have worked in a supervisory role where you've been responsible for planning, prioritizing, and following up on work. You have a good understanding of how production, machinery, and logistics work together in practice, are comfortable with digital tools, and hold a class B driver's license. It's an advantage if you have experience with mobile crushing units, work environment and safety management, maintenance planning, improvement initiatives, and deviation management. As a person, you're a confident and clear leader who works systematically and with a solution-oriented approach. You take responsibility, communicate clearly, and have a natural ability to create order, follow up, and drive work forward. You're present in the operations, engage your team members, and find it easy to prioritize even when the pace is high. From being a small local company in Hedemora, Nordschakt has experienced steady growth over the years and is today one of the region's largest contracting firms. In 2018, Nordschakt's new office building was completed – 1,500 square meters with space for offices and workshop. The company employs around 30 people, all with the right qualifications and knowledge to perform the work to the highest standard. Our employees are the company's greatest asset, and the work teams, led by two site supervisors, are well-coordinated. Nordschakt works with some of Sweden's and the Nordic region's largest players in the rock industry and infrastructure sector. We perform work in both quarries and in infrastructure projects.
