The Employment Market Unit (AME) is tasked with supporting municipal residents aged 16–67 who receive subsistence support, with the goal of achieving employment or studies. The target group has different experiences, needs, NPF diagnoses, mental health issues, etc., which form the basis for individual planning based on their needs. Within AME, we work with assessments of work capacity and offer preparatory initiatives through our activities Växtverket and Hantverket. We run a café business with work training positions and provide support both before and during studies to create sustainable paths to self-sufficiency. This means that people who receive subsistence support must enter full-time activities with a focus on work. You will participate in and be involved in developing an employer team tasked with arranging internship and work training positions. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an employment consultant, you will be part of a team with another employment consultant and a coordinator. Together, you work to support participants enrolled in the Employment Market Unit to move closer to self-sufficiency. In your role, you are responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining internship and work training positions. You actively work to create and maintain long-term relationships with employers, where you are their primary contact. At the same time, other staff are responsible for individual support to participants at the workplace. • Identify and develop internship and work training positions • Match participants' abilities and needs with appropriate workplaces • Motivate and present participants to employers • Build and maintain long-term relationships with employers • Follow up on placements and ensure they function over time • Identify development opportunities and strengthen employer engagement • Collaborate with other municipal activities to create sustainable solutions • Actively participate in development work and contribute to the continued development of the activity We are looking for someone who • Has a good ability to build trust and establish relationships • Is communicative and comfortable approaching employers • Has a motivating and solution-focused work approach • Is flexible and enjoys working in a role that requires collaboration • Has the ability to see opportunities and match the right person to the right place • Has a strong ability to present participants' competence and create paths to employment through trustworthy relationships with employers. QUALIFICATIONS Class B driver's license Business visits occur extensively both within the municipality, which is geographically large, and in neighboring municipalities. Education Post-secondary education that meets and is relevant to the assignment and the target group's needs is meritorious. You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally. You collaborate well with people in different contexts and roles. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Start date: October 1, 2026. Working hours: Daytime.
