You will work within the Employment Unit, which is organized under the Municipal Executive Administration in Åstorp Municipality. The Employment Unit's objective is to provide meaningful employment and help guide participants toward the open labor market or education. Job Responsibilities Would you like to be part of our development of important initiatives for people who need to establish themselves on the labor market within the framework of the upcoming activity requirement? As a work supervisor, you work closely with participants who need support, structure, and guidance to strengthen their path toward work or studies. The work is practical and largely takes place outdoors, where you guide participants in various work tasks while contributing to creating motivation, work community, and development. Job responsibilities include: Practical supervision of participants in outdoor work such as clearing, basic maintenance, and other practical tasks Planning, organizing, and directing daily work Supporting participants in developing work-life competencies, routines, and responsibility Documentation, follow-up, and reporting on participants' progress Collaboration with colleagues and other stakeholders regarding participants' development Responsibility for work tools, vehicles, and safety in practical work You need to be able to motivate and lead both individuals and groups, and adapt your working approach based on participants' different needs and circumstances. We are looking for someone who is confident, solution-focused, and has a genuine interest in people and labor market issues. Who Are You? You are a driven, positive person who enjoys practical work and has an easy time building trusting relationships. You have a coaching and inclusive approach and are motivated by supporting people in their development. You are flexible, responsible, and can work both independently and together with others. You have the ability to create structure in everyday life and remain calm even when work changes rapidly. We would like you to have experience with practical work in outdoor environments and feel comfortable guiding others in practical tasks. We also appreciate if you speak multiple languages. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Job responsibilities may change and develop over time based on the organization's needs. Qualifications Secondary education with relevant focus or other experience that the employer considers equivalent Experience with practical work in outdoor environments, maintenance, or similar activities Experience mentoring, supporting, or leading people Clearsaw and/or chainsaw certificate is a merit Good knowledge of society/local area and understanding of labor market issues Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing Ability to work in a structured, independent, and solution-focused manner Class B driver's license required Good proficiency with Microsoft 365 It is a merit if you speak multiple languages We value a positive view of people, good collaboration skills, and professional conduct.
