You won't be stepping into an established operation that needs restructuring; instead, you'll join an organization where we collaborate and create something new based on the new legal requirement—Activity requirements for recipients of subsistence assistance. You will have one foot in our labor market unit according to SOL (Social Services Act), which is under development, and one foot in the work supervisor group within daily activities according to LSS (Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). Within daily activities, we have long and broad experience in work supervision across various tasks. We are accustomed to creating new solutions based on needs and tailoring solutions for each individual. We are planning four work groups focused on kitchen work, grounds maintenance, recycling, janitor services, and similar service tasks. Together we are building an operation that makes a real difference and creates added value for our clients and participants. WORK DUTIES We are looking for someone driven by interactions with people, who sees opportunities and wants to contribute ideas, experience, and drive in an operation under development. You are confident in your professional role, you believe in individuals' abilities, and you enjoy working in an environment characterized by collaboration, commitment, and development. You find it easy to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and cooperation partners. As a work supervisor in Simrishamn Municipality, you will: • Daily provide practical supervision to participants in various work tasks in groups • Help shape work tasks and routines from the start • Be involved in strengthening people's opportunities for work and/or studies with a focus on sustainable self-sufficiency • Create meaningful work tasks that motivate participants and clients to take part • Contribute your expertise in an environment characterized by trust-based management and leadership, where managers set direction based on the operation and you as an employee have the opportunity to create how the daily work is done QUALIFICATIONS To be eligible for the position: You have experience working as a work supervisor, instructor, or equivalent—for example, within LSS or work capacity assessment. You have several years of professional experience in one of these areas: kitchen work, recycling, grounds maintenance, janitor services, or other service tasks. You have a class B driver's license. You are organized in your work and have the ability to prioritize among your various tasks alongside your supervision duties. You have digital skills and good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. You have the ability and experience to start up a new operation and establish structures for daily work. You have the ability for good communication and knowledge of people. You have the capability to perform both physically and mentally demanding work tasks.
