We are a wonderful food-loving team at a preschool with 115 children and 22 staff members, where mealtimes are an important part of our educational program. We see the kitchen as the heart of our operations – a place where care, quality, and joy meet. ⭐ Your role As a chef with us, you are responsible for managing the budget, planning, preparing, and serving delicious and nutritious food for our children and staff. You work closely with our educators and are an important part of the overall experience in the children's day. Your responsibilities include: Manage the food budget, plan and prepare lunch and snacks according to current guidelines and special dietary needs Create varied, sustainable, and child-friendly menus Ensure good food hygiene and self-monitoring Order supplies and maintain contact with vendors Keep the kitchen and serving areas clean, safe, and well-organized Collaborate with educators on mealtime pedagogy and children's participation Contribute to a positive mealtime experience where children feel joy and security around food 🌿 Who are you?
