Adapted Primary School is locally integrated at Nibbleskolans. At Adapted Primary School, we have students studying subject areas and subjects in grades 1-9. We operate four classes and an after-school program, which is also locally integrated at Nibbleskolans. 1 position(s). WORK RESPONSIBILITIES As a teacher in the after-school program, you will also work in the classroom during school hours. You will work together with colleagues to lead and develop the after-school program based on the curriculum for after-school activities. In Hallstahammar Municipality, we have two overarching working groups focused on development and administration to increase consistency within after-school programs in Hallstahammar. We actively work to increase collaboration between Nibbleskolans's two after-school operations—after-school programs for primary school and after-school programs for Adapted Primary School. Adapted Primary School conducts active student well-being work where our student well-being team, consisting of special educators, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, counselors, school nurses, and the principal, guide staff in daily work. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking a certified after-school program teacher with an interest in developing the program further. We are looking for someone with experience working with students in Adapted Primary School and after-school settings. A large part of your daily work will be serving as an extended arm between the special education teacher and students during classroom instruction. You should also be able to actively participate in swimming instruction for students. We are looking for a colleague who sees opportunities and wants to give our students experiences and knowledge about leisure activities and the surrounding community. As a person, you are calm, confident, and have the ability to create a creative work environment that encourages motivation and learning based on the curriculum. You act in accordance with the school's and after-school program's goals and policies, and place great emphasis on collegial collaboration. Of course, you have the ability to see possibilities and solutions and are not afraid to contribute your own ideas. You communicate with colleagues, students, and parents in a way that is based on good relationships. An excerpt from the criminal record register must be provided before employment.
