We are now recruiting a new team member for the ambulance station in Råda! Your Workplace Health and Medical Care in Värmland is a joint organization divided into several areas, with ambulance care belonging to AnOp ICU and prehospital care. We have 23 health centers throughout the region and three acute hospitals in Arvika, Karlstad, and Torsby. We are a well-sized and cohesive healthcare organization with short decision-making pathways that allow you to see the bigger picture and have a say in shaping our services. Currently, approximately 55,000 ambulance missions are performed annually in Värmland for the region's nearly 300,000 inhabitants. Ambulance care in Värmland spans the entire region with ambulance stations at twelve locations. Your Responsibilities Ambulance care is challenged by the acute treatment of sick and injured individuals in many different environments. Your role includes assessing, referring, caring for, and transporting patients. Through this work, you contribute to ensuring that patients receive good care at the appropriate level of healthcare. The position also encompasses standard nursing duties within ambulance care. Our goal is to always have a secure patient who knows the next step in their care pathway. We work toward a good work environment with stimulating tasks and individually tailored onboarding. The position includes work during both day and night shifts. Health and medical care is based on our patients' needs and our employees' competence. We want to advance healthcare together with our team members. Your Knowledge and Competencies We seek an ambulance nurse or nurse with at least 1 year of clinical experience. A Class B driver's license is required, as well as a minimum of 3 years of driving experience. A Class C1 driver's license is considered a merit. Before possible employment, you must complete work tests and pass a health examination conducted by the region.
