Glava Energy Center is seeking an energy systems engineer who wants to take the next step in their career and contribute to implementing a national demonstration project in industrial electrification and digitalization, in close collaboration with leading actors in the energy sector. About Glava Energy Center Glava Energy Center is an innovation cluster, educational actor, and member-driven association working toward a smart and sustainable energy system in Värmland and the Swedish-Norwegian border region. We run projects, networks, and initiatives in areas including local energy management, energy communities, circular economy, education, test beds, and climate-smart solutions. An important part of our work is to strengthen our member companies and collaboration partners through knowledge, collaboration, and practical solutions that contribute to the energy transition. With several new projects and a growing membership base, we are in an exciting development phase, and we are now seeking a new colleague for our team. About the Role As an energy systems engineer with us, you will, among other things: serve as support to the project's industrial partner in both technical matters and the practical implementation of demonstration activities contribute to planning, coordination, and follow-up of activities with the project's industrial partner and internally with us participate in analysis of technical data, documentation, and experience feedback from the project's demonstration environments contribute to ensuring successful implementation of the project You will work closely with Glava Energy Center's project manager, technical project manager, and communications team. The role also involves collaboration with companies, research actors, and other organizations participating in the project. You will be part of a small and engaged team where collaboration is important. In addition to project work, you are expected to contribute to Glava Energy Center's development by participating in joint activities, sharing knowledge across projects, and helping develop our operations. The role suits you if you thrive in the intersection of technology, collaboration, and project management. We would like to see that you have an interest in several of the following areas: operation and development of local and regional electricity networks energy use in society, particularly in industry flexibility markets and flexibility services control systems for energy and power management artificial intelligence and its growing importance for industrial processes and energy systems Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: a master's degree in energy or equivalent technical education/experience at least two years of relevant work experience good organizational skills and a structured way of working good problem-solving abilities the ability to work independently and take personal responsibility commitment to sustainability and equality good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English a valid driver's license (Category B) Meritorious experience in project management or project coordination experience in industrial operations and energy matters experience implementing energy or development projects We Offer a fixed-term employment for three years a position at 80–100% start in August 2026 or by agreement flexible working arrangements with the opportunity to work from our offices in Arvika and Glava as well as partially remote With us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with businesses, public actors, and other key players in the energy transition – and contribute to concrete solutions for the future energy system.
