Description of the Workplace We are seeking a teaching assistant for instruction and possible work on ongoing research projects. You will work at the Department of Building and Environmental Technology, Division of Building Services Engineering. The Division of Building Services Engineering is one of nine divisions within the department and has approximately 15 employees. Job Responsibilities As a teaching assistant, your tasks may vary and should provide insight into the academic world at the faculty where you are studying. We are seeking a teaching assistant to administratively coordinate and manage consultations in a course on building renovation, TFRE10, which runs throughout autumn 2026. The course consists of lectures given by other instructors, but the teaching assistant coordinates and grades submitted assignments. There may also be occasional other tasks related to instruction or research projects. Qualifications Eligible to be employed as a teaching assistant is someone who is admitted to education at basic or advanced level at the faculty (or a related subject for the common departments). The degree may not yet have been completed. Requirements for employment are: admitted to the Master's program Energy- and Environmental-Efficient Buildings or the Civil Engineering program in Road and Water Engineering with specialization in building installations and systems, or equivalent education that the employer deems relevant at least 50% of the final two years of your studies completed at the start of employment very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written documented experience with simulations using software for energy calculations and indoor climate calculations very good ability to collaborate as well as very good ability to work independently Merits for employment are: practical experience from construction and design of buildings What We Offer Lund University is a public authority that offers good employment conditions.
