As an Alcohol and Tobacco Handler, you are one of two who report directly to the Director of the Social and Support Services Department. Your physical workplace is in the Ruthensparre municipal building. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The position as Alcohol and Tobacco Handler reports directly to the Director. As an Alcohol and Tobacco Handler at Karlskrona Municipality, your main duties will consist of handling and investigating matters concerning permits for alcohol service and tobacco sales, as well as planning and conducting inspections according to the Alcohol Act. You will collaborate with other authorities such as the Police, the Tax Agency, and the Rescue Service. Your duties include verifying the personal suitability of permit holders, reviewing company finances, and investigating the sources of funding for operations. The role as an Alcohol Handler also includes investigating financial matters such as reviewing annual reports, accounting practices, limited liability company rules, and audit regulations. Working hours are primarily daytime, but weekend, evening, and night shifts may occur in connection with inspections. QUALIFICATIONS You hold a law degree or other university education with equivalent legal focus, or alternatively other university education plus several years of experience in legal work/qualified investigative work that the employer deems relevant for the position. A driver's license is required. We see that you have several years of current experience in case handling and investigation, several years of current experience in government administration, and a very strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish both in writing and speech. It is meriting if you have experience with and knowledge of financial auditing, such as work with annual reports, accounting rules, limited liability company rules, and audit regulations. Experience working in a customer and service-oriented operation, experience working as a lawyer or other relevant legal work. Knowledge of the Alcohol Act and experience with handling and investigation according to the Alcohol Act are also meriting. We place great importance on your personal qualities and competencies.
