This is a role for you who want to take greater responsibility for business development from the initial opportunity to a viable solution. At Jernbro, we work with industrial services in mechanics, electrical, piping, machining, and welding and forge work, both on-site at customer locations and in our own workshops. About the Role In this role, you will develop and drive business that requires thoughtful planning, from early dialogue to completed deals. You are involved early in the process and are expected to take full responsibility for the business, where you contribute to shaping content, structure, and value – not just the calculations. The role includes both developing business with existing customers and identifying new opportunities where we can make a real difference. You work independently with your business while working closely with both the operations team and the customer. The role is mobile and involves spending much of your time in the field and in dialogue with customers. In this role, you will: Identify opportunities early and drive them forward Influence how assignments are structured to make them feasible and profitable Prepare calculations and structure and price business deals Prioritize which business is right to move forward with Develop and structure recurring work into clearer and more value-creating offerings You drive your business from idea to viable solution, with clear connection to results and profitability, and build your own pipeline over time. You have significant responsibility and freedom to drive your work forward and contribute a business perspective where you are comfortable challenging structure, scope, and pricing when needed. We Are Looking for You You have a technical background and are accustomed to working closely with both business and implementation. Perhaps you currently work as a project manager, estimator, planner, or operational manager and want to take greater responsibility for business development. You have experience from industrial services, contracting, or similar operations and are comfortable estimating jobs and preparing bids. You understand what affects profitability and have driven business or projects forward, not just participated in them. You also have good technical understanding in one or more relevant areas, such as mechanics, electrical, piping, or welding. To succeed in this role, you are business-minded, self-driven, and comfortable in dialogue with both customers and operations. You are accustomed to taking responsibility and driving things to completion. You are experienced in developing business structures where you balance technology, implementation, and business.
