About ABF Norr ABF Norr is Northern Norrbotten's largest study association. Through adult education, culture, and association development, we create meeting places where people can grow, organize themselves, and contribute to society's development. At Folkverkstan in Norr, you'll have the opportunity to help build an initiative that combines sustainable transformation, practical learning, and local development – together with the people who live and work in the area. About the Project Would you like to help build tomorrow's meeting place for sustainable transformation? Folkverkstan in Norr is a development project run by ABF Norr with support from the EU and Leader Polaris. Through reuse, crafts, and adult education, we want to create meeting places where people can learn new skills, share knowledge, and inspire each other to live more sustainably. During the project, we're establishing Folk Workshops in Jokkmokk, Överkalix, and Gällivare. These will feature open workshops, courses, themed days, and other activities focused on reuse, creativity, and sustainable development. We will also operate a mobile workshop to reach people outside the main urban centers. The project is run by a team consisting of a program coordinator and two business developers. The program coordinator is responsible for overall project coordination and business development in Gällivare. As a business developer, you're responsible for establishing and developing the operation in Jokkmokk or Överkalix. This is a project where we build together. You'll have great opportunities to influence content, test new ideas, and develop the operation based on local needs, while collaborating with colleagues to learn from. Your Assignment As a business developer, you'll have a key role in establishing Folkverkstan in your location. You'll work on creating activities, building partnerships, and developing the operation together with residents, associations, businesses, and public sector actors. Your duties include: · developing and coordinating the local Folkverkstan · planning and implementing open workshops, courses, and events · creating partnerships with associations, businesses, and public sector · holding dialogue meetings and capturing local needs and ideas · recruiting participants, instructors, and partners · communicating about the operation and building engagement around the project · contributing to documentation, follow-up, and methodology development · participating in work with the mobile workshop This role suits you if you enjoy working independently, building new contacts, and turning ideas into concrete activities. Required Competencies We're looking for someone who: · has experience coordinating, developing, or leading operations, projects, or activities · has strong ability to plan, organize, and carry out work in a structured manner · is comfortable meeting groups and speaking to people · has good collaboration skills · holds a B driver's license Meritorious It's advantageous if you: · have experience with project management or development work · have experience with adult education, associations, or non-profit work · have knowledge of or interest in crafts, reuse, and sustainability issues · have experience planning and delivering courses, workshops, or events · have a local network within associations, business, or public sector Personal Qualities We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
