Skurup Municipality is the place for the good life. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES We are looking for you to guide our participants toward a more independent life. We have undergone an exciting organizational change focused on working purposefully together with participants to understand and change behaviors and thought patterns. The goal is to create sustainable change and increased quality of life. We are now seeking a 12-step therapist/counselor who will complement other professionals in supporting, guiding, and mentoring participants both individually and in groups with the progress they need to make, regardless of life area. VÄXT-house serves people who need to progress toward better mental health, independence, and self-sufficiency. In our operations, counselors map participants' abilities and functions and support them toward change and self-sufficiency through work or studies. Your contribution will be crucial to the participants' success. You will be part of an engaged team where collaboration, open dialogue, and support from various professionals in the social services department as well as external partners are key to success. At VÄXT-house you will meet all participants and work with them both individually and in groups, be with them in their assignments to see their abilities and support behavioral change forward when needed. QUALIFICATIONS - 12-step therapist certification - At least 2-3 years of experience in treatment work - Knowledge and experience of individual counseling and group treatment - A genuine belief in people's ability to change and enjoys working in a team where you support each other - You need to have an interest and understanding of practical work, preferably in gardening or green environments, as you will be part of the operations and work together with participants. - You are secure in yourself and have the ability to lead and inspire participants. - You have good communication skills, are attentive and relationship-building in your approach. - You are curious, creative, and like testing new methods when needed. - You have balanced emotional stability and are secure even in challenging situations. - You have excellent command of Swedish, both spoken and written - You have a category B driver's license, manual transmission, as you will be moving between different workplaces Would you like to be part of making a real difference for people in our municipality?
