Support Pedagogues for Disability Services / Supported Living - Group Housing We are now recruiting 1–2 Support Pedagogues We work on behalf of the commissioning unit and provide support to people with neuropsychiatric disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, and intellectual disabilities who live in accommodation with special services in Haninge municipality. Your role as a support pedagogue is based on the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS), where the guiding principles are self-determination, influence, accessibility, participation, continuity, and a holistic approach. The goal is for each individual to receive the support they need to live as independently as possible with good quality of life. Your Assignment In your role as a support pedagogue, you will guide and implement pedagogical approaches and are responsible for developing them in collaboration with management. You provide support to other team members and mentor colleagues in matters of social documentation and pedagogical work. You continuously update yourself on pedagogical and evidence-based knowledge and inform the work team about it. Your tasks also include searching, sorting, and distributing information and new findings of significance. The supported living accommodation is staffed 24/7. You will work on a schedule that includes morning, day, and evening shifts, on-call overnight duties, and every other weekend. What We're Looking For in You We actively work with digitalization where possible; for example, we offer Wellbee to all service users. We will also have an information screen in the facility displaying, for example, daily activities and staffing. As a support pedagogue with us, you need to be comfortable with digital systems and tools. We're looking for someone who is a positive and secure person with an approach characterized by equal worth for all. You are flexible and take own initiative in your work You drive development work forward with pedagogical work in focus You are well versed in rules and regulations Qualifications: You should have: Completed education as a support pedagogue Good computer skills and experience documenting according to the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS) Experience working with the target group of people with intellectual disabilities and autism It is advantageous if you have: Experience as a support pedagogue Knowledge of low-arousal approaches Knowledge of mental health issues and comorbidity What We Can Offer You In this assignment, you will have the opportunity to develop the operation together with knowledgeable and engaged colleagues.
