JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Are you the one who educates tomorrow's welders? We are looking for a dedicated and experienced welder for our welding programs at Osby komvux (municipal adult education). You will teach welding courses and programs at various levels, from basic level to higher vocational education level. The work includes tasks such as planning, delivering instruction both theoretically and practically, as well as assessment and grading. Securing apprenticeship/practical training placements and establishing contacts with supervisors. We work in close collaboration with colleagues and with the business community. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with adequate education in the field or at least two years of professional experience from the relevant industry within the last 5 years. You have experience in the education system and are an International Welder (IW). We prefer that you are an instructor in forklifts, lifts, and fall protection, and that you meet the welding commission's and Osby komvux requirements to be an IWS certified teacher, certified according to ISO 9606 at pipe level, and have documented competence in the welding methods: MAG, TIG, and MMA. Pedagogical education equivalent to at least 1 full-time term, or at least 3 years of documented experience teaching adults and/or young adults (16-25 years). You take overall responsibility for student learning, both at school and during apprenticeship/practical training. You work in a structured, clear, and high-quality manner in your teaching. You have the ability to build professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the business community. You do not give up if student development is not as desired; instead, you adapt and follow up on instruction. You see documentation, follow-up, and assessment as a natural part of the teaching role. You work with collegial collaboration and maintain clear structures for instruction. You want to work in an organization where professional competence, pedagogy, and the business community work together. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Start date: September 1, 2026. There is an opportunity to combine this work with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment will be made based on operational needs.
