For children and young people who have turned 13 years old, there is an opportunity for short-term supervision at Skogslyckan through LSS (Act on Support and Services to Certain People with Disabilities). Here, children and young people who are entitled to LSS are welcome after school ends when their guardians are working or if this specific type of support is needed. Skogslyckan Recreation is located in the facilities at Albäcks School and collaborates with adapted primary school and upper secondary school. The activities at Skogslyckan stand for learning with an individual focus in social interaction with peers and staff. We see all students' and staff's differences as an asset. As an employee at our LSS Recreation, you work to create a safe and stimulating environment for our students. You plan and implement activities that promote social interaction, development, and well-being. Work Tasks • To provide tube feeding and be able to handle lifts and student transfers • To practice alternative communication methods, such as sign language or visual supports • To adapt activities based on individual needs and conditions • To collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and other professional stakeholders • To contribute to a positive and inclusive environment • To continuously provide information to guardians about the activities • To compile schedules for the school year and plan for vacation activities and update as changes occur Qualifications We are looking for you who have experience working with functional variations and experience with neurodevelopmental differences and students with special needs. You need to have organizational ability and be structured in your administrative work. Assistant nurse training is a merit. We want you to be dedicated, flexible, and willing to think new and differently with the student's best interests in mind. You will be an important person in the work around LSS Recreation. We therefore see that you can collaborate with your immediate colleagues, other staff who work with our students, guardians, and external stakeholders such as Habilitation. You are positive and creative, see opportunities ahead of obstacles, and enjoy working practically. You take responsibility for the whole and see good relationships as a success factor for succeeding in your assignment. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
