Your workplace is located in Alafors with your unit and in Nödinge with the management group and colleagues from other municipal departments. Job Responsibilities As a unit manager, you're responsible for operations, personnel, and budget. You lead a unit with responsibilities including system administration and digitalization, regulatory authority and board matters, facility planning and security, and operations-focused support. Your responsibilities include: securing proper exercise of regulatory authority working efficiently, structurally, and with sound financial management providing accessible and professional support to residents driving development and renewal collaborating with internal and external partners based on operational needs leading and developing employees enhancing operations-focused support You have broad and important responsibility in driving work toward high quality, efficiency, and trust by creating structure, direction, and future. But above all, you're leading a transition—from administration to something more cohesive, intelligent, and value-creating. Qualifications We're looking for you to have an academic degree in public administration, law, or another field the employer deems relevant. The position requires at least three years of work experience in municipal administration and leadership experience. You have excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and possess excellent knowledge of public administration, digitalization, and AI. It's a merit if you've completed a leadership program or other management training. Experience as a manager with personnel responsibility and experience from work in education administration or roles as an investigator, case officer, or operations developer within municipal operations are also viewed positively.
