Meals is an operation within the service sector in Ulricehamn Municipality. The mission is to serve meals to all preschool and school students as well as to persons receiving support in special housing, group homes, or their own homes. Today there are 34 kitchens included in the food service operations. 2 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In the role as pool chef, you get varied and developmentally enriching work where no two days are the same. You work with all common kitchen tasks, such as meal preparation, serving, dishwashing, quality control, and ordering. Some days you work independently in a smaller preschool kitchen and other days you become part of a larger kitchen team. As a pool chef you work in kitchens throughout Ulricehamn Municipality, which means you need to appreciate variety and be able to adapt to the different operations' needs. The role suits you if you enjoy active work and like meeting new workplaces and colleagues. We are seeking employees for two different positions. One position involves daytime work, Monday-Friday. The other includes work every fourth weekend and suits you if you want time off during the week. Travel between workplaces is done with your own car and is reimbursed according to current mileage allowance rates. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a trained chef or has other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent. You have previous experience working in large-scale kitchens or restaurants and feel confident working according to current food hygiene procedures. For this position, a class B driver's license and access to your own car are required. To thrive in the role, we believe you are self-driven, responsible, and flexible. You easily adapt to different workplaces and situations, willingly take your own initiative, and contribute to good cooperation in the work group. You have a service-oriented approach, stay calm even during periods of high pace, and have strong communication skills with both colleagues and guests. In Ulricehamn Municipality, we see language skills and diversity as an asset. However, to be able to perform the work safely and securely, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent. Reference checks will begin after the first phone interview. A trial period may be applied. A background check is required upon job offer within preschool, preschool class, after-school center, primary school, special primary school, and other educational activities according to the Education Act (2010:800, chapter 2, sections 31-33).
