The Social Services Administration in Stockholm City has an overarching and coordinating role for social services' individual and family care and the disability sector. In close collaboration with the district administrations, we contribute to a modern, digital, lawful, equal, and knowledge-based social service, and we have a strong focus on development. Within the administration, a wide range of support services are offered to the city's residents, and this offering changes based on Stockholmers' needs and the district administrations' wishes. The work often takes place in close cooperation with other authorities, civil society, and the business sector. The Social Services Administration is also responsible for the city's food service and tobacco permits and conducts inspections. Welcome to us We are looking for a temporary investigator to work in the team addressing violence in close relationships and honor-related violence, oppression, and exploitation. One of our team colleagues is on loan for another assignment, and we need someone to step in and continue our work. With us, you will have an important role in driving development work and supporting the city's district administrations in working equally, lawfully, and based on knowledge. The position is part of the Competence Center for Adults, where 18 employees and one manager currently work, of which 12 work as investigators in the areas of homelessness, violence in close relationships, harmful substance use and addiction, financial assistance, and crime. We also have staff working with MI training, statistics, social services inspectors, and Roma inclusion. The workplace is located in Farsta Centrum with proximity to the subway and a shopping center with a wide range of restaurants, cafés, and shops. The assignment also involves cooperation with other administrations, authorities, and actors. You contribute to ensuring lawful and knowledge-based working methods and provide support to managers, employees, and other professionals in the city. The position includes writing service statements, environmental monitoring, developing new guidelines or support materials, serving as an expert, leading networks, conferences, and training sessions. Your work tasks include, among other things: • leading city-wide manager networks, organizing training sessions, lectures, and workshops • staying updated on the state of knowledge regarding violence in close relationships, honor-related violence, oppression, and exploitation • planning, implementing, and following up on budget assignments • working on development issues together with district administrations/other administrations and organizations or companies • writing and compiling service statements, responding to motions, letters, and referrals • contributing to knowledge-based development within the field Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has: • a degree in social work, or other academic education that the employer considers equivalent • several years of experience from public administration work within violence in close relationships and/or the adult sector • very good knowledge of current legislation and social services' working methods within the violence field • experience leading assignments or projects • experience writing investigations, reports, service statements, or other professional documents • experience coordinating and leading meetings, workshops, and conferences • very good knowledge of Swedish and the ability to express yourself very well in speech and writing • experience working in a politically governed organization It is meritorious if you have: • several years of experience from public administration work within the operational area of children and youth • knowledge and experience of implementing new working methods and approaches Your personality and working style In this recruitment, we will place great emphasis on your personal qualities, motivation, and commitment to the assignment.
