About Sunnanåker Sunnanåker provides 24-hour care and serves individuals aged 20-65 with mental health disabilities. Some of our residents have had substance abuse issues in their past. Sunnanåker is located in a peaceful, rural setting with a garden and the Hälsingeskogen forest nearby. The work team is small, and maintaining a positive team atmosphere is important to us. As a residential support worker, you work scheduled shifts covering days, evenings, weekends, and nights. Working as a substitute with us can be a way to explore a new career opportunity! • You will have a group manager nearby who works at Sunnanåker. • Animal-assisted care: We incorporate animals into our care services and have goats on the farm. Residents also have the option to keep their own pets. About the Role As a residential support worker, you provide support based on residents' individual needs and wishes, using a pedagogical approach in daily life. Working together with other staff members, you aim to make each day meaningful and fulfilling. You assist and guide residents with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is to encourage and motivate residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your responsibilities also include documentation and planning based on implementation plans. Your Experience and Knowledge We prefer candidates with experience in psychiatry. You have good Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing, strong computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with this target group. Beyond that, your CV is not the most important factor. If you have the right qualities, we will support and help you grow. You need a B-class driver's license to work with us. You have a positive outlook and strong commitment to people, are responsible, and have personal maturity.
