JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking substitutes as needed in elderly care and support services for people with disabilities! The tasks vary depending on the department. In disability support services, you may work at a group home or on individual assistance cases. The tasks range from cooking, organizing activities with clients, to tasks related to hygiene. You work independently or in a team. In home care services, you work independently in the client's home and perform care and service tasks. The tasks can vary from medication administration to tasks related to hygiene. In special housing facilities, you work at a residential facility for elderly care. This typically requires more advanced care for clients, which means you as an employee will learn and work with more advanced medical equipment. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who wants to make a significant contribution to other people in the municipality. You take initiative and are driven. You are confident and willing to learn new skills. You have a good approach with both colleagues and clients, which is fundamental for all care and support work. If you have education in care and support, we consider this a merit, as well as if you have practical experience in the field. You also need to master Swedish language in speech and writing. This is necessary both for communication with clients and colleagues, and for documenting in our record system. For work in home care services, a driver's license is a requirement. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. Type of employment: Fixed-term contract. Duration, start date: 2026-06-15. Work hours: Shift schedule. Permanent employees in Sävsjö Municipality are assigned to their ordinary workplace in case of war readiness. In case of elevated readiness, threat of war, or war, the employee shall report to their ordinary workplace.
