JOB DUTIES Work as a social services case officer involves handling cases under the Social Services Act, concerning elderly care and social psychiatry. You receive applications, conduct investigations, and make decisions according to delegation regulations and follow up on support measures. Your direct supervisor is the unit manager for Adults/LSS at the authority unit. The work involves contact with service users, relatives, and collaboration with, among others, our own service delivery unit as well as healthcare. Our case officer team consists of four handlers, and now that one of our colleagues is on parental leave, we are looking for a colleague who can contribute. We have a clear structure and division of work tasks in the group to create the opportunity to do good work under good conditions, but also flexibility where we support each other when needed. As an employee at the authority unit, it is part of each employee's mandate to be involved in our quality development and contribute to the development of new working methods, guidelines, and procedures and compliance with these. This also means that all employees have the opportunity to be involved in developing and influencing the work. QUALIFICATIONS You need to be a social worker or have other education that we consider suitable. It is meritorious if you have experience with social services case handling or other authority case handling according to the Social Services Act. It is also meritorious if you have experience with IBIC, LifeCare, Mina planer, and if you have knowledge of elderly care, elderly people's living conditions, and mental disabilities.
