We're looking for an engaged and positive team member. You'll be working in a fast-paced team with a variety of different tasks. At Sportshopen, we're driven by constantly wanting to improve and offer the best service to all our customers. Your Day-to-Day We're looking for someone who always greets our customers with a warm smile and the best possible service experience! In addition to excellent customer service and sales, your responsibilities will include tasks such as cash register work, merchandising, price labeling, unpacking, and restocking merchandise. An important part of the job is also keeping the store organized and ensuring the right products are in the right place. Your Background We're looking for someone with previous retail experience, preferably with outdoor/sports background. As a person, it's important that you're driven and social while being a team player who collaborates easily with others. You take responsibility for your tasks and are passionate about delivering good service to our customers. We believe that with your positive attitude and good communication skills, you'll contribute to a great work environment. High initiative and goal-orientation are qualities we value. You have a genuine interest in sports and leisure products, and we'd like to see that you have an active lifestyle. Our Terms These are permanent positions starting with a six-month probationary period. Working with us means varying hours, and weekend work is required. Start date in September or by agreement. We're hiring the following positions: 80% - 2 associates 60% - 4 associates Selection and interviews are ongoing, and positions may be filled before the final application deadline. Swedemount Sportswear & Fashion AB was founded in 1991 and currently operates 23 stores under the name Sportshopen and one store under the name Bazar. In Sörred outside Gothenburg, we have our 20,000 sqm automated warehouse and office. In Grebbestad on the west coast, our head office and largest store are located—Sportshopen, which is Northern Europe's largest sports store at 14,000 sqm. Our stores are located throughout Sweden, from north to south, with growing e-commerce that also extends to the European market. Sportshopen is today one of the larger independent operators in Sweden for sports and leisure sales. Our assortment consists mainly of clothing and shoes from leading brand suppliers, but we also develop and manufacture our own brands – clothing designed for use in harsh climates, year-round.
