We are currently seeking someone to work as a lifeguard/pool attendant at Borgholm Swimming Pool and/or Åkerbobad. 5 position(s). WORK TASKS Your responsibilities will include typical work tasks at a swimming pool and training facility such as lifeguarding, swimming instruction, cashier/reception work, and facility maintenance. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for customer safety and well-being. We employ a rotating schedule system, which means all tasks are part of your responsibilities. Working hours are scheduled for daytime, evenings, and weekends. QUALIFICATIONS You must be at least 18 years old and have completed upper secondary education. You should have basic computer skills, be fluent in Swedish, and have the ability to adapt your communication to different people and situations. Swimming proficiency is a requirement, and we conduct tests in swimming and lifesaving, which include swimming 200 meters (50 meters backstroke) and the ability to tow a dummy or person 25 meters in water. You must achieve a passing result on these tests to be considered for the position. It is advantageous if you are a certified swimming instructor. Other language skills, current CPR certification, experience leading baby swimming classes, water aerobics and/or other group fitness activities, cleaning and maintaining the pool facility, working with children and youth, and being or having been active in a sports organization may be advantageous.
