Do you want to take responsibility for driving customer projects within process and heavy industry? At DEKRA, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated project manager to strengthen our new business area Quality Assurance and Engineering. With us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers and lead their projects with high technical requirements. ABOUT THE ROLE As a project manager at DEKRA, you work as a consultant and become an important part of our customers' project teams. You will lead projects related to quality assurance, technical development, and production within heavy industry. Your main areas of responsibility include: Planning, coordinating, and executing customer projects, where you ensure progress and deliveries according to established goals and timelines. Leading projects in manufacturing and technical inspection, for example in welded production of pipes, boilers, and pressure vessels according to standards such as EN, PED, and ASME. Collaborating with the customer's internal and external stakeholders to solve technical challenges and optimize project results. Managing risks, monitoring costs and delivery quality, and reporting to the customer. The role involves working on-site at our customers' facilities or at their project installations, both nationally and internationally. YOUR BACKGROUND We are looking for someone with several years of experience in project management within heavy industry, for example from manufacturing, power and heat generation, nuclear power, petrochemicals, contracting, process industries, pulp and paper, or defense. You are accustomed to leading complex projects for customers and have solid technical understanding of the challenges and requirements that projects in these environments demand. Your qualifications: Experience leading projects in welded production or other technically advanced areas. Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations such as EN, PED, and ASME. Strong project management competence, preferably with certifications such as IPMA, PMP, or equivalent. Merit: Experience in quality assurance or technical inspections.
