We are now looking for an open, cheerful, and positive assistant for a 20-year-old girl in Kävlinge. Here you'll be part of a small and dedicated team of important people who ensure that the girl can live an active, joyful, and meaningful life. You should be a woman/girl. Previous experience in personal assistance, school/preschool, or other work with children/youth is a plus but not required. With us, you'll go through orientation and training on-site until you feel confident with the work. The girl has dual assistance, so you'll never work alone – you'll have support from a colleague or support assistant/support teacher when the girl may attend day activities. This means your workplace may be located at the day activity center in the fall, but the focus is on our girl. We're looking for a warm and supportive assistant to start with us in August. This position is a temporary contract equivalent to approximately 40%, and there's a good chance it will become a permanent position later on. Working hours occur during weekdays (daytime/evening) and every other weekend. As an assistant, your responsibilities include everything from personal hygiene and care to communication, training, and activities. The family lives within walking distance of Kävlinge train station, so commuting by public transport is no problem! Below is some brief information from the girl: I'm a cheerful 20-year-old girl who lives with my family in Kävlinge. I'm looking for someone who is secure, warm, and considerate. With me, you'll have the opportunity to really make a difference and help me develop as much as possible! You need to be comfortable in the water and it's a requirement that you can swim, since swimming is one of my biggest interests! Besides that, I love horseback riding, so for that simple reason, you shouldn't be afraid of horses either. On weekdays it's full of both riding, swimming, music therapy, and training. I love being outdoors and my daily walks. During weekends and holidays, I like to do fun activities and go on outings. As an assistant, you have a say in my everyday life and help me live an active life, which I really appreciate. Music is my passion – I love listening to music and I play several different instruments. You don't need to be musically skilled, but you're welcome to like joking and singing along with me. I'm very curious by nature and I like when things happen – with me, you won't get bored! We appreciate it if you're flexible and have a good work ethic. In my assistance team, we help each other and it's important to give and take. We're a fun and enjoyable group that creates many fun (and unforgettable) memories together!
