About the Position We are now seeking an engaged and professionally proud chef who wants to help create culinary experiences for our golf guests. With us, you work with cooking from scratch, seasonally adapted ingredients, and a clear sustainability focus. You will be part of a kitchen team where collaboration, quality, and work enjoyment are central. The Role As a chef at Vadstena Golf Restaurant, you work in a varied kitchen where no two days are the same. The operation includes lunches, dinners, catering, events, and special arrangements. You actively participate in planning, production, and execution, and contribute to ensuring our guests receive a first-class dining experience. Your tasks will include: Preparing lunches, dinners, catering, and event meals Cooking from scratch with a focus on quality and sustainability Preparations and mise en place before daily service Ensuring routines for food hygiene, self-inspection, and food safety Participating in menu development and improvement work Active work with waste reduction and resource-efficient production Collaboration with the kitchen team to ensure high quality and good service Contributing to a positive work environment and good cooperation between different kitchen functions Working hours vary and include daytime, some evenings, and weekends according to schedule. We're Looking for Someone Who Has good experience working as a chef Has good experience with cooking from scratch Has good knowledge of food hygiene and self-inspection Speaks and writes Swedish fluently Thrives in a varying work pace and is solution-oriented Is structured, responsible, and quality-conscious Is a team player who enjoys going the extra mile to achieve results both individually and as a team Has a genuine interest in ingredients and cooking Meritorious Qualifications Experience from restaurant operations Experience working with large production volumes Experience with special diets and allergy handling Education in restaurant and food services We believe you have a driver's license and access to a car, as we are located some distance from the nearest public transportation.
