Operations Engineer - Power Grid Quality and Measurement

Description:

In the role of Operations Engineer, you will work operationally and analytically to ensure that our power grid maintains high quality and meets applicable regulations. You should have a good understanding and interest in how a power grid functions and thrive working with complex issues and analyses. You will be part of a small, cohesive team where collaboration, technical expertise, and responsibility are central. Your main responsibilities will be Conduct proactive analyses of power quality in our facilities and propose measures when needed Disruption analyses and investigations Assist with power quality expertise within the company, such as for operations and/or in development and innovation projects Customer contact and collaboration with contractors, suppliers, and internal partners Monitor the external environment and implement EU and regulatory directives as well as applicable laws Handle billing against eSett (including preliminary and final share figures) Serve as backup for the measurement data responsible, such as collection of measurement values and administration of measurement collection systems (including Aidon, Zynergy and related systems) Establish procedures, documentation, and reports related to power quality Ensure that procedures for continuous monitoring, maintenance, and follow-up are followed Serve as electrical operations manager when needed (possibly on-call as per agreement) Your qualifications Higher education with a focus on electrical power/energy. Equivalent competence acquired in other ways that we deem comparable Class B driver's license Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish Previous experience and expertise Deeper knowledge of data analysis and understanding of programming Experience from the electrical power industry within local or regional networks Experience in network calculations, dimensioning, and power grid design Experience working with power quality and measurement technology Good knowledge of applicable regulations for power grids Good understanding of measurement values and message flows within the measurement process It is meritorious if you have practical experience with: o Electrical installation work and measurement equipment o Working with power quality analyzers (Unipower) and analysis tools (e.g., Quant Insight) o Integration and data quality issues related to measurement data Personal qualities You enjoy diving into data and finding patterns that make a difference – and you're quick to translate insights into smart, practical improvements. You work methodically and have control of the situation, which creates order and builds Trust with both colleagues and customers.
