Workshop Mechanic

Our business is growing in the forestry and garden equipment sector. We've just completed the expansion of our 150 sqm workshop and are now looking to expand our team with one additional person. The role can be 60-100%, depending on what works for you. The Role! As a workshop mechanic, you are a crucial part of our operations and serve as the face of our company to our customers. You share responsibility for the workshop alongside your colleagues, and your main tasks will involve repair and service of machinery within forestry and gardening, such as lawn mowers, chainsaws, etc. We've recently made a strategic investment with someone focusing on the sale of robotic lawn mowers, so installation of robotic lawn mowers at customer sites during the season may also become part of your work. Together, we plan the procurement of machinery and spare parts, and although your focus is on service and repair, you'll also be involved in sales. The workload during peak season can sometimes be high, but we support each other as a team. You are more of a mechanic than a shop salesperson, but it's important that you have excellent customer service skills, which is something we value highly. Perhaps you have experience from small machinery workshops, or maybe you work with something else but enjoy tinkering and fixing things whenever you have a moment. Perhaps you already have some experience repairing and servicing 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines? Delivering high quality, having the drive to satisfy customers, and being a problem solver are things you identify with. Furthermore, you have good teamwork skills, as we are a team that supports one another. You have a strong service mentality—even though you're passionate about fixing things, you appreciate the contact with people and customers.
