You will be an important part of operations and work closely with both vehicle care and maintenance to create an efficient and clear workflow in the depot. About the Role As a shunter, you are responsible for preparing vehicles for upcoming maintenance, ensuring that vehicles are correctly deployed in service, and contributing to our passengers having a safe and pleasant journey. You are a central contact point between Shift Supervisors/Production Managers and facility staff, and you actively work to maintain high standards in vehicle care and operations. The work is security-classified, which means you must meet the requirements for security services within the railway. Working hours: Monday - Thursday 21:30-07:00. Friday - Monday 21:00-07:00. The position involves a rotating schedule where you work nights for seven consecutive days, followed by seven days off (7/7 schedule). Your Tasks The work involves preparing and handling vehicles for maintenance and service deployment by organizing them according to applicable procedures. The role includes regularly performing exterior washing according to scheduled intervals and ensuring the operation of washing, graffiti removal, and de-icing processes in cooperation with FM personnel. You are responsible for safely moving vehicles within the depot area and conducting self-inspections before each movement. You also report deviations related to safety, work environment, environment, and quality, and document completed work according to established guidelines. You actively contribute to maintaining order and cleanliness in the depot and can perform other tasks within your area of responsibility as needed.
