Åre Municipality is a Sami administrative municipality, and we welcome applicants with linguistic and cultural knowledge of Sami. The Community Development Department consists of three divisions: citizen services, strategic community planning, and the technical division. The department is responsible for providing service to citizens and businesses, for strategic planning of community development, and for the municipality's water and wastewater operations, waste management, facilities, and project organization to support these operations in new investments and reinvestment. This position is under the facilities division, where you will work as a central support function for the municipality's core operations, handling a broad range of tasks to help the municipality's operations focus on their core mission. 1 position(s). WORK RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform ongoing repairs and maintenance • Handle fault reports and address minor issues directly • Assess what can be solved internally and what needs to be ordered externally • Contribute to reducing external costs through smart and efficient management • Build good relationships with the operations teams QUALIFICATIONS • Experience with practical work in facilities management, maintenance, construction, operations, or similar • Broad technical foundational knowledge (e.g., carpentry, basic electrical work, plumbing) • Ability to independently plan, prioritize, and carry out work tasks • Class B driver's license • Good Swedish, spoken and written • Experience working in municipal operations or large organizations • Experience working with fault reporting or case management systems • Experience assessing when work should be performed internally versus ordered externally • Vocational training in facilities, construction, electrical, or plumbing Employment Form: Permanent employment.
