JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to lead an operation that makes a difference in people's everyday lives? At Nybro Energi, we are responsible for critical infrastructure that ensures safe and sustainable water and wastewater supply for the municipality's residents and businesses. We are now seeking a Business Area Manager for Water and Wastewater who wants to take overall responsibility for our water and wastewater operations and lead an engaged team of just over 15 employees. As a member of Nybro Energi's management group, you report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with the municipality, authorities, contractors, and other key stakeholders. In this role, you are responsible for operations, finances, personnel, and development within the business area. You ensure a long-term sustainable, safe, and efficient water and wastewater supply while driving development and future investments. The business area includes production and distribution of drinking water, treatment plants, distribution networks, pump stations, and major investment and development projects. In this role, you are responsible for, among other things: • Operations, personnel, and budget responsibility • Strategic development of water and wastewater operations • Operation, maintenance, and investments in facilities and distribution networks • Authority contacts and compliance with laws, permits, and environmental requirements • Long-term planning for capacity, sustainability, and supply reliability • Monitoring of operational goals, finances, and key metrics QUALIFICATIONS We seek someone with experience leading operations in water and wastewater, process industry, energy, or other technical infrastructure where operational reliability, quality, and social responsibility are central. We would like you to have: • Relevant university education in water and wastewater, environment, engineering, or equivalent • Experience in leadership with personnel and budget responsibility • Good understanding of water and wastewater operations, process facilities, or other critical infrastructure • Experience with operational development and change management • Good financial acumen • Class B driver's license Who are you?
