In this role, you will work closely with product development and be involved from concept to technical solution. You will contribute system expertise in control engineering and control systems for our products and take on a central role in developing the next generation of solutions in heating and indoor climate. About the Position As a Control Systems Development Engineer, you will work in Flexit's innovation and primary development department, which is part of the product development organization. Here we work in the early stages of development and develop technical concepts and solutions that are later implemented in our products. You will contribute expertise in control systems, control engineering, and system architecture and work closely with developers and external partners in mechanics, electronics, and software. Example responsibilities: • Develop requirements and functional specifications for control systems • Participate in the development of control systems and software for heat pumps and equipment for heat and cold distribution • Contribute expertise in control engineering and system design • Work on concept development in early product development phases • Test and verify software and hardware in simulation, laboratory environments, and prototypes • Collaborate with developers and external partners in mechanics, electronics, and software • Participate in innovation projects and technology development You will become part of a cross-functional development team where several technical areas and external knowledge networks work together to create tomorrow's products. The position is based in Töcksfors. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technology who enjoys working with complex systems and technical solutions. You likely have an engineering degree in fields such as: • Computer science • Electrical engineering • Mechatronics • Engineering physics • or equivalent field It is meritorious if you have experience in: • Control systems or control engineering • Heat pump systems or energy systems • Product development • System integration between hardware and software As a person, you are analytical and structured with strong problem-solving skills.
