About the Role As an Audio/Acoustics/Digital Signal Processing Developer, you'll be part of a specialized team working with digital signal processing for both passive and electronic hearing protection. Your focus is on analyzing, processing, and optimizing sound—from microphone to speaker—to create the best possible user experience, especially for voice communication in noisy environments. You'll work in cross-functional development projects alongside colleagues in hardware, mechanics, software, and production. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for the audio chain, where you both develop new algorithms and refine existing solutions. Examples of work tasks: Develop and implement algorithms for audio and signal processing Work with simulation and modeling in, for example, MATLAB Implement solutions on embedded platforms Explore and apply AI/ML within audio, such as for noise reduction and speech extraction Participate in concept development and early phases of product creation Test, measure, and evaluate sound in advanced lab environments Work is conducted in an agile manner with daily standups and close collaboration within the team. You have significant freedom with responsibility and work hands-on with real products from idea to finished solution. Work is performed on-site, with the possibility of remote work one day per week. Your Profile We're looking for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to develop long-term in a technically advanced role. You are curious, driven, and have a genuine interest in audio and technology. You're an inquisitive and engaged person motivated by learning new things and developing in your role. You're comfortable tackling challenges in a structured and solution-oriented way, where you not only analyze problems but also ensure they work in practice. At the same time, you collaborate easily with others, enjoy sharing ideas, and contribute to an open and communicative team culture. Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or Master's in, for example, Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent Exposure to audio signal processing, acoustics, or audio through education/work/personal interests Knowledge of C Understanding of the interaction between software and hardware English in speech and writing Merits: Knowledge of Python, MATLAB, GitHub Personal interest in sound, music, or acoustics Swedish in speech and writing About the Client Our client is a global innovation company with operations in multiple countries.
