Investigator for Government Assignment in Suicide Prevention and Mental Health

The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care (SiS) is an agency responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for youth with complex psychosocial problems and for adults with substance abuse. SiS also implements closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and facilities for adults with substance abuse throughout the country. Job Description Do you want to contribute to developing care for some of society's most vulnerable children, youth, and adults? We are now seeking an investigator for an ongoing government-wide assignment within the framework of the national strategy "It's About Life," with a focus on suicide prevention and mental health. In this role, you will contribute to national-level development by: Developing and implementing activities related to the government assignment Participating in work to develop and implement approaches within suicide prevention and mental health Revising central guidelines and policy documents Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders Contributing psychological and practice-based expertise in development and change work You will be part of a project group and organizationally belong to the Health and Healthcare Section at the Research and Development Department at SiS headquarters. Work will be conducted in close collaboration with the section and other parts of the agency. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: is a licensed psychologist has several years of experience working in child and adolescent psychiatry has experience in operations development and/or investigative work has experience working in compulsory care has good knowledge of suicidality and experience working with suicidal patients has strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing Meritorious Qualifications It is advantageous if you have: experience implementing approaches and introducing new processes experience in project management or project work and/or management experience experience from SiS youth care or work within social services To thrive and succeed in this role, you should be a collaborative and relationship-building person who feels comfortable in complex collaboration environments.
