The Enforcement Authority (Kronofogden) is tasked with preventing and combating economic crime and participating in collaborative efforts among government agencies against serious and organized crime. Part of this work involves supervising business bans. About the Job This is a new and exciting role as an enforcement officer overseeing business bans. You will be part of the special enforcement unit. Everyone working at the Enforcement Authority contributes to the fight against crime. Your responsibilities include identifying and preventing attempts at criminal activity and notifying other authorities of suspected crimes. A business ban is issued by a court following special review. A person subject to a business ban is not permitted to operate or represent a business. Your tasks will include: informing the person subject to the ban about what the ban entails monitoring that the person does not conduct business activities during the period the ban is in effect overseeing business ban compliance and reporting suspected violations to the prosecutor at the Economic Crimes Authority carrying out qualified investigative work, analyzing financial circumstances, and investigating potential involvement in business activities documenting and compiling investigations and making legally sound assessments maintaining numerous personal contacts, primarily from the office but when necessary also through field work. Your qualifications: higher education or university degree of at least 180 credits (120 credits under the previous system) in social sciences or economics, or equivalent higher education current and relevant work experience in investigative work good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish driver's license for manual transmission vehicles. It is desirable that you have current work experience in government agencies. It is also desirable that you have current work experience in supervisory and control activities. Experience working in Excel is also desirable. Additionally, experience with Analyst Notebook is desirable. About Us The Enforcement Authority is a government agency with an important mission. Good to Know The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as an enforcement officer. The Enforcement Authority offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer. Working for the state means you follow the state value framework. There are also special requirements regarding judgment, security awareness, and compliance with applicable laws. We will ask questions at interview about any previous criminal activity and shortcomings in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions will also be put to references. We also obtain information about debts registered with the Enforcement Authority, bankruptcies, and business bans. Information obtained will be considered in the overall assessment of your suitability for the position. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security clearance with register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision is made.
