UNIT: Arboga Military Base is a resource center for leading war units' mobilization and operations. The military base supports the military region with territorial operations and total defense coordination within its area of responsibility. This means constant surveillance and, together with co-located units, defense of own deployment site and operations. The military base supports with equipment and supplies to mobilizing units and to units assigned to the military base. The military base is responsible for, among other things, supplementary training, training of personnel reserves/replacement units, war volunteers, etc. ABOUT THE POSITION The position is currently placed at the training support department within the Garrison Unit, but will shortly be part of the training platoon included in the military base company. We are now looking for instructors who want to contribute to the long-term development of Arboga Military Base's capabilities. Initial focus will be on protection and security service. Main responsibilities As a training instructor, plan and conduct training and exercises primarily for Arboga Military Base. Own competence development in several different areas (depending on competence, willingness and need). For example, weapons, medical, supply, vehicle or staff service. Since the war unit is under development, there are great opportunities to adapt assigned tasks according to the individual's skills and abilities. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Approved specialist officer training or completed and approved military basic training (GMU/Conscription), approved conscription grades (minimum JA-2-2/X-5-5) Category B driver's license (manual transmission) Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English in speech and writing Good ability to plan and conduct training Good computer skills and experience working in Microsoft Office Personal qualities You feel comfortable in a changing environment where many things happen at the same time and where you enjoy leading, developing operations and training, primarily conscript soldiers but also colleagues. You have a fundamental pedagogical ability and want to develop further in this. To succeed in this role, you should be service-oriented, take initiative and easily take on new tasks. You are responsible and enterprising with a good ability to drive the work forward both independently and as part of the team. You are also security-conscious from both a security protection and operational security perspective. You are thorough when it comes to planning and administration. We expect you to share the Swedish Armed Forces' values and code of conduct. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability. MERITORIOUS Previous or ongoing employment as GSS K or T Experience leading training: AK4/AK5 density testing tactical management of combat casualties vehicles Security guard instructor (or trained military security guard and/or IBSS and TPSS competence) Military advanced driver's license (higher civilian driving licenses) Communications training (in FM occurring radio systems) OTHER Form of employment: Permanent.
