Etec is now seeking an engaged and knowledgeable teacher for our vocational college program Automation Technician for Sustainable Industry 4.0. About the Position We're looking for someone with experience and strong knowledge in electrical and automation who wants to help educate the next generation of automation technicians. As a teacher with us, you will teach in several areas within electrical and automation. You will primarily work within our vocational college program Automation Engineer for Sustainable Industry 4.0, but teaching may also occur in other programs and courses at Etec. An important part of the role is being responsible for our students in year 1 of the Automation Engineer for Sustainable Industry 4.0 program. You will be a central figure in their development and responsible for creating structure, motivation, and a strong connection between education and industry. Your Responsibilities - Teach electrical and automation subjects - Plan, conduct, and follow up on instruction - Support and guide students through their education - Collaborate with companies and industry stakeholders - Contribute to the development of our programs Instruction includes both theoretical and practical components with strong ties to industry needs. We're Looking for Someone Who - Has experience in the electrical and automation industry and wants to share your knowledge with the next generation of technicians. Meritorious Experience - You have completed our automation engineer program - You have an electrical education background - You have worked as a teacher in the Electrical and Energy program - You have work experience as an electrician or industrial electrician Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, engagement, and the ability to inspire others.
