Arvidsjaur Municipality is seeking a Procurement Officer The Procurement Unit works on behalf of Arvidsjaur, Arjeplog, Sorsele, Vilhelmina, Åsele, Dorotea, and Malås municipalities and the member municipalities' companies. The Procurement Unit is placed as a unit under the Finance Department and is to consist of four procurement officers, one procurement coordinator, and one unit manager. The unit handles all types of procurements such as goods, services, IT, and construction procurements. The procurements vary in scope and complexity. As a procurement officer with us, you will work in a developing environment with many challenging and varied assignments. We are a great team that has fun together and supports each other in big and small matters. Job Duties The assignment includes conducting municipality-wide procurements with a focus on business acumen and cost efficiency. You work with multiple procurements simultaneously and support the operations throughout the entire procurement process. You will also work with support, advice, and information to the operations in procurement and purchasing matters. To simplify and streamline the purchasing process, you contribute to the development of methods and working practices in the field. You will work as part of a team together with other procurement officers, expert reference groups, and other specialist expertise. The assignment also includes ongoing communication and training initiatives within the purchasing area and you will have many external and internal contacts with suppliers, customers, and partners. A professional approach, drive for change, good analytical skills, and a sense for good business are highly valued in this position. We are looking for someone who: has appropriate post-secondary education at college/university level or appropriate vocational education, or alternatively work experience that the employer deems appropriate. has good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. has a Category B driver's license. It is an advantage if you have experience: within LOU/LUF; in construction law AB/ABT/ABK and AMA; in politically controlled organizations; in IT procurements. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability in this recruitment.
