Lärkvägen Home Care Service consists of several different work teams that, depending on employment type, work around the clock. The teams operate from the office at Lärkvägen 4, and we primarily use cars and bicycles to reach our service users. WORK RESPONSIBILITIES Your tasks vary depending on the care needs of the service user. You will work with quality care, service, and social interaction, as well as documentation, planning, health and medical tasks, and development work. We drive or cycle between our service users. All work is also done in close collaboration with various professionals. We work according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Care Act (HSL). In your role as a nursing assistant, you are flexible and take responsibility as your workdays involve everything from handling alarms, serving as a primary care contact, administering medication as prescribed, providing daily care and support, to sitting down and having a conversation with someone who needs it. You are, together with your colleagues, the key person around the service user, and you work together to create a good life for the individual. You also serve as a primary care contact at welcome meetings, create and update care plans, maintain contact with relatives and other professionals, and document according to applicable legislation in our operational system. Much has also happened in digitalization for home care in recent years, and we work primarily through our mobile devices. On the mobile devices, staff see their daily schedule, sign off on medications, and document important events in our journal system. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements for the position: • Educated nursing assistant with protected professional title (1500 upper secondary school credits or upper secondary school diploma) • Class B driver's license • Good knowledge of the Swedish language Meritorious: • Additional specialized education, for example in dementia care or low-arousal approach that the employer deems relevant • Experience working in elderly care • Experience in other relevant assignments or representative roles as a nursing assistant You should have a good approach to the people you meet, enjoy creating new and positive relationships, and have good collaboration skills. You are also interested in continuing to develop our operations and are flexible in the face of changing circumstances in your work. Employment Type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent.
